Finishing Foreman – Clare

We are currently recruiting a Finishing Foreman for a project based in Co. Clare. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to progress their career on technically challenging and high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate all finishing trades to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery
  • Supervise subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring efficient sequencing of finishing works
  • Manage daily and weekly work programmes in line with the overall construction schedule
  • Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to ensure smooth site coordination
  • Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, and QA procedures
  • Identify, manage, and close out snagging and defects efficiently
  • Maintain strong health & safety standards across all finishing activities
  • Order and track materials to prevent delays and maintain workflow
  • Monitor labour, plant, and site resources effectively
  • Maintain daily site records including progress, manpower, and key activities
  • Attend site meetings and report on progress, risks, and programme status

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar senior site finishing role
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades, materials, and construction sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Trade background or relevant construction qualification desirable
