Finishing Foreman – Clare
We are currently recruiting a Finishing Foreman for a project based in Co. Clare. This is a permanent, full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to progress their career on technically challenging and high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all finishing trades to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality project delivery
- Supervise subcontractors and direct labour, ensuring efficient sequencing of finishing works
- Manage daily and weekly work programmes in line with the overall construction schedule
- Work closely with the Site Manager and project team to ensure smooth site coordination
- Ensure all works comply with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, and QA procedures
- Identify, manage, and close out snagging and defects efficiently
- Maintain strong health & safety standards across all finishing activities
- Order and track materials to prevent delays and maintain workflow
- Monitor labour, plant, and site resources effectively
- Maintain daily site records including progress, manpower, and key activities
- Attend site meetings and report on progress, risks, and programme status
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or similar senior site finishing role
- Strong knowledge of finishing trades, materials, and construction sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Trade background or relevant construction qualification desirable
