Position Details:

• Position: Finishing Site Manager / Finishing Foreman
• Requirement: Immediate
• Location: Clare
• Job type: Permanent / Full time
• Salary: Negotiable
• Reports To: Project Manager
• Minimum experience required: 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all finishing trades to deliver works safely, on programme –
and to the highest quality standards
• Supervise subcontractors and labour, ensuring efficient sequencing and –
productivity of finishing activities
project schedule
• Implement and manage daily and weekly programmes in line with the overall –
operations and coordination
• Liaise closely with the Site Manager and subcontractors to maintain smooth site –
• Inspect finishing works to ensure compliance with project specifications, –
Building Standards and the DBL Quality Management System
• Identify, manage and close out defects promptly
H&S records
• Promote and enforce high standards of health and safety, maintaining accurate –
• Order and monitor materials to ensure continuity of works and avoid delays
• Control plant, labour returns and site resources efficiently
• Maintain a daily site diary recording progress, manpower and key site activities

Requirements:

• Attend site briefings and meetings as required, reporting on progress and issues –
• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a senior finishing supervisory role –
within the construction industry

• Strong technical knowledge of finishing trades, materials, and construction –
specifications
• Ability to read, interpret and implement construction drawings and –
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills
• Strong problem-solving ability with a high level of attention to detail

Programme deadlines:

• Capable of working under pressure and managing competing priorities to meet –
• Relevant qualifications in construction management, a related field or a trade
background are desirable
