A well-established and highly respected Irish building contractor is currently recruiting for a Quality Control Auditor / Assessor based in County Clare. The Opportunity
The Quality Control Auditor / Assessor will play a key role in ensuring the effective implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS). Reporting directly to the QAQC Manager, you will work closely with project teams, site management and senior leadership to drive compliance, best practice and high performance standards across live projects.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of Quality Systems to meet business and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct structured internal audits and comprehensive site-based QAQC audits across multiple live projects.
• Compile detailed audit reports and quality documentation using the company’s construction management software (Procore).
• Develop, implement and monitor quality procedures across all departments and sites.
• Identify, investigate and close out non-conformances, driving corrective and preventative actions.
• Support project teams with BC(A)R compliance and project handover documentation.
• Develop inspection and test plans (ITPs), check sheets and quality tracking systems.
• Mentor site teams and promote quality awareness through training and guidance on company procedures and best practice.
• Support customer complaint investigations and product performance reviews.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date quality records and dashboards for management reporting.
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance and continuous improvement across the organisation.

Candidate Profile
• Trades background or 3rd Level Qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in a QAQC, Site Engineer, or Quality-focused role within main contracting.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing and best practice standards.
• Experience on large-scale commercial, residential or mixed-use projects.
• Solid understanding of Irish Building Regulations and certification requirements, including BC(A)R processes.
• Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software.
• Lean Construction experience or qualification (advantageous).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, methodical and highly organised.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across project teams.
