Finishing Foreman / Internals Site Manager – Dublin 4

A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman / Internals Site Manager for a major high-profile development in Dublin 4.

This is a key site-based role responsible for driving internal works through to high-quality, defect-free handover stage, on a large-scale, multi-million-euro project in a live urban environment.

Core Responsibilities

Health & Safety

• Enforce strict site H&S standards at all times
• Ensure full compliance with RAMS, inductions, CSCS and site procedures
• Carry out regular inspections and immediately address safety issues
• Maintain safe systems of work across all internal trades
• Oversee welfare facilities, logistics, and site housekeeping

Quality / Finishing

• Manage all internal finishing works to full handover standard
• Lead QA/QC processes including ITPs, BIM and digital tracking systems
• Identify, record and close snags and NCRs efficiently
• Drive consistent workmanship across all subcontractors
• Maintain accurate daily site diaries and quality records

Programme / Delivery

• Develop and manage short-term lookahead programmes for internal trades
• Coordinate sequencing of finishes to achieve key milestones
• Monitor progress and proactively flag delays
• Contribute to weekly progress reporting with the Project Manager

Commercial Awareness

• Understand subcontractor scopes and boundaries
• Track materials, deliveries and site records accurately
• Ensure no unauthorised dayworks are signed off
• Support QS and Project Manager with site-based information

Coordination & Stakeholders

• Liaise effectively with subcontractors, consultants, and client-side representatives
• Maintain strong coordination across all internal trades
• Support smooth inspections, sign-offs, and handover preparation
• Ensure professional site standards at all times

Requirements

• 5–10+ years’ experience with a main contractor
• Strong finishing / internals background on €10m+ building projects
• Proven ability to deliver snag-free, high-quality finishes
• Experience managing multiple subcontractors in fast-paced environments
• Construction-related qualification advantageous
