Senior Site Engineer

The Senior Site Engineer plays a key role in supporting the construction management team in delivering high-quality building projects on site. This is a hands-on position where you’ll be central to ensuring works are executed accurately, safely, and to the highest standards from groundwork through to completion.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and support setting out engineers on site, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all works
• Verify shuttering, reinforcement, and dimensional accuracy prior to concrete pours
• Maintain and manage materials reconciliation and site records
• Review drawings and plans to ensure all works are correctly interpreted and delivered
• Work closely with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to keep delivery on track
• Drive high standards of quality control across all site activities
• Promote and enforce strong health & safety compliance at all times

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor
• Strong hands-on experience with setting out equipment (total station, GPS, laser levels)
• Solid understanding of temporary works coordination
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work independently and take ownership on site
• Practical, reliable, and confident working in a fast-paced construction environment
