Site Engineer – Construction

You will play a key role in supporting the site management team with the day-to-day control and delivery of building works on live construction projects. This is a hands-on position with real responsibility and strong progression potential for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting out, levelling, and ensuring accurate dimensional control across all site works
• Quality control checks, including concrete testing (slump tests, cube sampling, etc.)
• Inspecting shuttering, reinforcement, and general works prior to concrete pours
• Maintaining material reconciliation records and site documentation
• Keeping accurate site records, including daily diaries and uploading information to the document management system
• Supervising direct labour and subcontractors across various work packages
• Ensuring full compliance with all health & safety, environmental, and quality standards on site

What We’re Looking For:

• Engineering qualification (Civil / Structural or related discipline)
• 2–3 years’ experience with a main contractor or building contractor
• Strong IT skills and confident use of surveying instruments and setting-out equipment
• A practical, proactive approach with strong problem-solving ability
• Someone who works well as part of a team but can also take ownership on site
