  • Oversee QA/QC processes, ensuring all works meet specification and design requirements.
  • Generate and track snag lists, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
  • Issue and manage NCRs where works fall below required standards.
  • Carry out regular quality checks across all trades and subcontractors.
  • Ensure all works are aligned with project quality management systems and digital reporting tools where applicable.
  • Maintain a strong focus on workmanship standards through continuous monitoring and supervision.

Programme

  • Coordinate and manage short-term programmes for finishing trades and subcontractors.
  • Drive progress on site to ensure key milestones and handover dates are achieved.
  • Monitor daily progress and report delays, risks and productivity issues.
  • Work closely with the site team to resolve sequencing and coordination issues.
  • Ensure all operatives and subcontractors are fully briefed on programme expectations.
  • Oversee inductions, RAMS compliance, and site access requirements for all personnel.
  • Support visitor management and ensure all site entrants are properly inducted and compliant.

Commercial Awareness

  • Understand drawings, specifications, and subcontractor scopes of work in detail.
  • Assist with site records and information required for cost control and commercial reporting.
  • Support accurate tracking of materials, deliveries, and site usage.
  • Ensure no unauthorised instructions or variations are issued without approval.
  • Work closely with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor on site instructions and subcontractor coordination.

Stakeholder & Site Relationships

  • Maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants, clients and all site stakeholders.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies and inspectors where required.
  • Support smooth communication between design teams, site management and subcontractors.
  • Ensure a professional and solution-focused presence on site at all times.
