Buyer / Sourcing Specialist – Dublin

This is a hands-on Buyer / Sourcing Specialist position where you’ll be at the centre of how products are sourced, priced, and delivered into some of the most advanced manufacturing environments in the world — including pharma, medtech, semiconductor, and life sciences.

You’ll be trusted to make decisions, solve sourcing problems quickly, and directly influence cost, supplier performance, and customer outcomes.

What you’ll actually be doing:

• Taking ownership of sourcing requests from internal sales and customers
• Finding the right suppliers fast — not just the usual list
• Negotiating pricing, lead times, and commercial terms that actually move the needle
• Solving technical sourcing problems where speed and accuracy matter
• Building relationships with suppliers that genuinely improve service and cost
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and turning them into real results
• Managing tenders and supporting supplier selection decisions
• Working closely with sales, operations, and technical teams to keep things moving

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or buying
• Comfortable working with technical or industrial products (MRO, electrical, spares, etc.)
• Strong negotiator who’s not afraid to push suppliers
• Fast thinker who can work under pressure and still get it right
• Organised, proactive, and commercially aware
• SAP/MS Office experience an advantage
