We are recruiting for a Fire Alarm Engineer in Dublin
Duties/Responsibilities:
Service / Maintenance of Fire Alarm / Security / Emergency Lighting systems including fault finding
Repair / Installation of Fire Alarm / Security / Emergency Lighting systems
Respond to Call Out Requests during working hours within agreed timescales (allocated on a geographic proximity basis)
Share / Participate in our On Call Rota Schedule (Out of Hours)
Utilising our Mobile Work Management ‘App’ electronically record maintenance activity /parts used
Interact face to face with Customers on site regarding their maintenance requirements, to include generating appropriate Service Certification and obtain agreement / signature from client
Attend staff meetings / toolbox talks, undertake staff training / courses as deemed necessary to perform the Fire Alarm Engineer role and to enhance your skill set and experience
Candidates will require the following essential criteria:
Proven field service experience and strong working knowledge of Conventional / Addressable fire alarm systems and emergency lighting systems
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the fire / security industry, in a similar role
Full Clean Driving Licence
Strong attention to detail
Strong written communication
Ability to hold an autonomous role and demonstrate good time management
Comfortable using field-based work management software
Applicants must have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
Applicants must be well presented with a positive, proactive, and professional approach
Applicants must be able to supply suitable character references and Garda clearance

Desirable Criteria
It would be advantageous to have experience maintaining some / all of the following: Access Control Systems, Flow Switch Testing, CCTV Systems, Disabled Refuge, Smoke Vents, Fire Curtains, Intruder Alarms, PAT, Automatic Fire Suppression Systems
Highly organised and customer focused
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good presentation (ensuring company vehicle, uniform and paperwork promote a professional image)
